By presenting a completely new offer of pure Bio Packaging solutions we surprised the producers of eco-food in Germany.
From February 12th – 15th we took part in BIOFACH, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food, held in Nuremberg. In its 17th edition Biofach achieved record highs of a total of 3,792 exhibitors who were showcasing their products to more than 47,000 of professional buyers from 136 countries.
Flexomed contributed to the visitors enthusiasm shown for the new developments, trends and innovations in the eco-food sector by giving away beautifully designed Bio-Packaging Kits.
The high importance of changing human behaviours towards climate protection formed a main part of the inspiring keynote by Dr. Jane Goodall Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE), who ended her speech with an emphasis on her motto: “Each and every one of us can make a difference every day”.
Taking up this motto conscientiously Flexomed put the main focus on its offer of 15 new prototypes towards the market containing compostable and recycable packaging solutions without plastics and with different kinds of barriers.
We also invented a new material which extends the lifespan of fruits and vegetables, which had been awarded with the WorldStar as well as the Golden Trophy 2017 by the World Packaging Organisation in the category ‘Packaging, that saves food.’
This groundbreaking material is applied to our Shoulder Bag ‘Bio Packaging Kit‘ and can certainly be tested by all its recipients in addition to carry out product tests with all other innovative samples.
Our daily mission is to find solutions for each and every type of food, in order to protect best its nutrients, aroma and lifespan. In our efforts we start off with thinking sustainable materials, creating Eco-Design and contributing to the idea of a Circular Economy.
Alongside our economic goals for the Biofach, our mission was to launch a message which aims at the education of our future generations. The key question for us in Flexomed is not, which earth will we leave to our children but instead we would like to challenge ourselves and the world with the question of which children will we leave on this earth.
With this in mind, we are looking forward to accompanying our business partners on their way towards Bio Packaging.
Until the next Biofach which will take place from Feb, 17th – 20th in 2021.
